Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break
Personality;;
Ali is… passionate. Very, very passionate. She is the very epitome of the evil scientists that the mutants so passionately despise. She loves her job more than anything except maybe torturing anyone who disobeys her, which I suppose goes along with the scientist gig. She is extremely sadistic and I suspect that is the reason that she became a scientist. Taking someone from their normal lives and conducting horrid experiments on them just gives her the greatest joy in the world. She loves knowing that she has someone’s life in the palm of her hand. It gives her a sense of power that living a normal life she never could experience.
Ali rarely has fun, unless you count the excitement she feels when she tortures experiments and mutants. When she does have fun it’s usually when she has had too much to drink. She is sometimes called a drunk – much to her chagrin – and this is somewhat true. When she is working as well as when she is conducting experiments, Ali is almost always seen with a glass of red wine (never white). When she gets drunk she is a completely different person. She is much nicer and a lot more clingy to people.
But as I said, she rarely has fun. Most of the time she is a completely serious and sadistic scientist who likes to drink a lot and has a very short temper. Even when it comes to her allies she isn’t very nice and she doesn’t completely trust anyone. She is protective of some people whom she needs for her plots, but besides that she sees all others as expendable, and won’t hesitate to let you know just how expendable you are. Be afraid, very afraid.

Family;;
Mother – Meredith Cross – A former scientist, Meredith was killed by a mutant when Ali was twelve.
Father – Richard Cross – A former scientist as well who was part of the group of head scientists in the labs. When he died Ali – age thirteen – took his place as a head scientist.
History;;
Ali was born in Paris, though she was raised mostly in the labs alongside her parents. Ali’s father was one of the head scientists in the labs and he fell in love with Meredith, another scientist. They got married in Paris and had a daughter, Alison. Ali was the perfect daughter for them. She was extremely intelligent and highly mature, even at a very young age. She loved to watch them conduct the experiments and she longed to be able to do it herself, though she had to wait until she was ten to actually start experimenting (her mother’s rule).
When she turned ten, Ali was ready to start with her work. She worked differently than the other scientists. Instead of working on one or two experiments a month and trying to find cures for things or create weapons or something along those lines, Ali was conducting experiment after experiment on numerous different specimens. She didn’t care about bettering the world, she simply wanted to see what would happen when she did one thing or another to a person. Before she turned twelve she had conducted more experiments than most did in ten years. She was on a roll and everyone knew that when she became one of the head scientists she would be making a big difference in the way the labs and the experimenting went on.
Ali’s mother died when Ali was twelve and after that something changed in her. Before Meredith’s passing, Ali had been content with just injecting different concoctions in experiments, replacing organs, and changing their DNA and such. When Meredith died, though, her methods became much more sadistic. She more frequently “forgot” to give the experiment anesthetic so they felt all the pain and on many occasions she just straight out tortured them, especially if they were rebellious in nature.
When Ali was thirteen, her father died. He had caught a disease from one of the experiments and had died from it a few months later. Ali was sad by her father’s death, but she was highly mature at thirteen and knew that her father would’ve hated for her to grieve over him. So instead she stepped into his place as one of the head scientists and instantly things changed.
Scientists started becoming more like her; sadistic, manipulative, and torturous. The experiments were much more… gruesome. Of course, it was then that experiments started escaping. This irritated Ali, though she shrugged it off mostly, wanting to focus on her private experiments. Now, Ali lives a life of luxury in her own private lab. She is one of the head scientists and is revered for her sadistic ways. Though she rarely leaves the labs for anything, she can sometimes be seen in town shopping or sometimes she’ll just go for a walk and enjoy taking a break, though that doesn’t usually last long. We’ll just have to see where this life takes us…
