Roles
Human
The most common group throughout the world. Most are completely unaware of the mutants or even the experiments taking place. The rare few who are aware are either part of the government, or simply ran into one. Because of the large reward paid for any knowledge of the runaway experiments, those who do know often are enemies to mutants and are not trusted very well by them. There are a rare few who actually try to help the experiments. But it is quite rare and because of the mutants lack of trust for them, they don't often get along well.
Agents
These can either be humans or mutants. They are the ones hunting down the runaway experiments and trying to bring them back to the labs without the knowledge of the human experimentation slipping out. Some are merely doing their job while others rather enjoy hunting down the mutants as if they weren't ever human at all. The mutant agents are not common, mostly because not many mutants wish to help the government.
Mutants
Humans that were experimented on. They might have been criminals, asylum patients, or just people picked off the streets. They are all given unique powers and abilities that set them off from the regular humans. Ever since they escaped, they have been hunted down and captured in order to become weapons for the military.
Performers
Mutants that have gone undercover as simple circus folk. Free to use their powers without much suspicion, they tend to feel at peace and not so pressured. The Abnormalities Circus has become a sort of family for them and they all fight to survive and escape from the government. Unlike regular mutants, they tend to have more of a tolerance towards humans and more likely to bond with them if given the chance.
Scientists
The guys who created this whole mess. Once the agents bring them suitable subjects, they experiment on them. If the subject survives the process, they become mutants. Most scientists mostly do their job in order to create weapons while some may use them as lab rats to discover cures for diseases. All in all, mutants hate them with a bitter passion and most scientists find this to be very entertaining.
Rebels
After years of persecution, some mutants have found it is time to end it. These mutants are part of a rebellion, bent on taking over the government and showing humans their true power. They believe since they have special abilities, they rank higher than average humans and think they should establish their rights as rulers over the world. They are constantly fought by the government as well as the more peaceful mutants.
