Personality;;

Cheshire is a bit hard to understand at times. Mostly because he seems to have multiple personalities. At one point, he is a jovial, childish man who enjoys having fun and hates having to think about complicating or boring things. He enjoys the circus life and cares greatly for the performers in his circus, often referring them as his family. He acts much like a cat. Seeking attention, a bit on the lazy side, but all in all lovable. He can be a bit mischievous at times though and is very playful. Cheshire also has a more mature side when the situation calls for it. As said before, he cares deeply for his circus family and would readily take a bullet for them without hesitation. He is very clever and has a quick wit to match. Most don't know he is also a pretty skilled fighter. This only comes out though when he feels threatened or his family is in danger. All in all, it takes one time to truly understand him. And only one person has been able to succeed.

Shapeshift; Not like the other shapeshifters. No he is only capable of taking on one form and that is the form of a cat. A rather odd colored one at that. He can take on this form at any time he wishes, which is not often. But if something perks his interest or makes his cat instincts go off, he changes subconsciously. Which annoys the hell out of him...

Physical abilities; Much like his cat self, he has senses that are much more efficient than a regular humans. He has acute sight, hearing, and smell. During the night, he can see clearer than any human but his vision is rather inferior during the day. He is also pretty flexible.

History;;

What made Cheshire the mutant he is today? Well the story is rather short and uninteresting. At least in his opinion. He would have preferred a more exciting history.

Born exactly twenty years ago, he was a normal human child who had loving human parents. His dad was a business man, he could sell just about anything! His mother was a stay-at-home mom who watched over the troublesome child and tried to keep him out of trouble. Yeah his personality hadn't changed much over the years. Because his dad was mostly away, he didn't get to see much of him which deeply troubled his mother and the reason Cheshire is the way he is. That's what she said anyway.

Let's skip a few years because it was mostly getting into trouble anyway. Nothing fun like the last few years.

Seventeen. Cheshire was simply out, partying with some friends. They roamed the town, getting into stuff they knew they weren't supposed to and messing with people to dangerous levels. They messed with the wrong guy. Cheshire happened to meet his first agent that night. As his friends ran, Cheshire was left to survive on his own with this irritated man. He thought he would kill him but he did much worse.

Cheshire awoke in the labs, finding himself strapped down with strange men standing around him. Then, they began the experiments. He'd never felt so much pain in his life. The experiments went on for a whole year when he finally emerged from the labs as a new creature.

He was sent to the asylum and hidden away till the experiments began to plan an escape. It was a daring act and they knew doing it would be dangerous. But they didn't want to be stuck in that forsaken place for the rest of their lives. So when given the chance, the experiments broke for it, many of them losing their lives. He was one of the survivors who escaped to the promised new life. He thought like the rest of them that they would never have to worry about them again. They were all wrong of course.

He continued to hide, trying to find a way to survive when he met another mutant like himself. Together, they came up with the cover. A way to live somewhat a normal life without having to cower in fear. The Circus. Cheshire took on the role as the Host while his right-hand became performer and recruiter. So far, things have been going good. But some suspicion has roused and he has been paying close attention. He doesn't want any harm to come to his new family.
